Bass in the Grass is just around the corner, the largest music festival in the Northern Territory.
While it’s exciting to have big acts in the Top End, it doesn’t come without a cost. The festival is backed by Santos, the gas company behind fracking plans in the NT; the old art-washing trick. We love live music, but not at the expense of our environment.
That's why we’ve made a bold new “Santos Fracks” sticker and we’re looking for people to help hand them out and chat with festival-goers about the risks of fracking in the NT to water and country.
We’ll meet at the festival main entrance from 2–4pm, Saturday 16th May.
No need to purchase a ticket to be involved as we will stay out the front of the event.
